ARE YOU SURE IT'S A BUCK BUN??? B/C SOME DOES WILL PULL ALL THE HAIR OFF THIER LEGS AND BELLY WHEN THEY ARE GONNA HAVE BABIES EVEN IF THEY ANIT PREGNANT THEY THINK THEY ARE AND DO IT ANYWAY! B/C I HAVE ONE THAT IS DOING IT RIGHT NOW SHE'S MAKING A NEST AND EVERYTHING BUT HAS NOT BREEDED !! JUST A THOUGHT !! OR YOUR BUN COULD HAVE MITES AND IT KINDA LOOKS LIKE THE MAINGE IF YOU DON'T GET YOUR BUN CHECKED ALL THE FUR WILL COME OUT !! I HAD TO GET MY BUCK CHECKED BECAUSE HE HAD IT ON HIS NOSE AND MY VET TOLD ME THAT IF I HAD MORE THAN ONE THEY ALL NEEDED THE SHOTS TOO ! WELL IT DONE THE TRICK !!
the bunny could have mange an infestation of fur mites, which can cause a rabbit's skin to become itchy, with white particles like dandruff appearing in its fur. In some cases, the rabbit will lose its fur in areas of heavy infestation. Also called walking dandruff.
Check her for bugs. My rabbit got maggots when she got poop stuck to her. The vet told us to wash he in salt water and then dry her well. We did this and she died during the night. Im not suggesting this because she died. She could have died cuz she wasnt dried enough and got too cold, the salt water affected her, or if it was cuz of the maggots but it might help. I bath my bunny i have now with a soft baby soap and warm water then towel dry her hand put her near the fire place. And of course she sleeps in the house. She is fine with baths so Maybe if you try that. If she has any wounds of red skin, use polysporn (yes I know its for humans) it will help and its fine for them to have.
