savannah monitor with blood in eyes

i have a savannah monitor i purchased that is about two ears old. He has blood in his eyes and thrashes his head around,his tail is turning black on the end. He wont eat or drink water and hasn't done his business in he water bowl in awhile. does anyone know what is wrong with him?

I'm certainly no expert in reptiles. I know how to patch up a turtle that's been hit by a car or cope with a snake that's been weed whacked. Blood in the eyes is never normal. It could be an injury or some serious infection. The tail tip turning black sounds like an injury and the tissue is necrotic. I'd say he needs a visit with a vet. Are you aware of any recent injuries?
