BLURRED VISION

ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO I WENT TO THE DOCTOR BECAUSE I HAD A BURNING PAIN ON MY EYELID.  HE PRESCRIBED ME OPTIVAR AND SAID TO USE 1 DROP TWICE DAILY.  I DID THIS FOR TWO DAYS AND THE EYELID PROBLEM WENT AWAY BUT THE DROPS DID BURN WHEN USING THEM.  EVER SINCE THEN MY VISION IN THAT EYE IS DISTURBED BUT NOT CONSTANTLY. I CANT DESCRIBE IT I WOULDNT SO MUCH SAY IS BLURRY BUT SOMEWHAT. THE PUPIL IN THAT EYE IS ALSO MORE DILATED THAN THE OTHER ON AND OFF MORE SO RIGHT WHEN I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING.  I WENT BACK TO THE DOCTOR AND HE REFERRED ME TO AN EYE SPECIALIST AND GAVE ME XANAX FOR MY ANXIETY.  I AM FREAKING OUT THINKING THAT I HAVE A BRAIN TUMOR OR AN ANEURYSM.  IS THAT RIDICULOUS  COULD THIS ALL BE BECAUSE OF THE OPTIVAR???????

no, the pupil problem is definitely NOT from the optivar.  the pupil problem and the burning sensation/optivar are unrelated problems.

keep the appt with the specialist re: pupil problem.  the burning sensation is likely either dry eye or blepharitis, neither are dangerous and neither are related to uniocular pupil dilation...
