Blepheritis 2 weeks after iridotomy

Blepheritis 2 weeks after iridotomy

iridotomy done on both eyes with yag laser for preventive measure of closure glaucoma. The IOP was originally 19 which is normal. The deciding factor was narrow angles. one eye seems to be suffering from blepheritis per doctors diagnosis 2-3 weeks after surgery.

treated with prednesone 1 drop x4/day for 5 days. Even after medication, upon closure of eye still feel the tolerable discomfort like some kind of pressure. As I understand oil blokage in the eye
lid causes this but there is no evidence of discharge or stickyness in the area. Is this normal? How much time before it goes away?      Could the trauma during the procedure cause blepheritis?
