Blunt Eye Trauma

by The Pheonix, Aug 21, 2006 12:00AM
hi all

any advice here much appreciated.
7 days ago had a small luggage strap at full stretch hit
me in the left eye. hyphaemia/blunt eye trauma.

after a couple days the minor lens scratch and
pain at the back of the eye (inflammation?) subsided.
now redness in white of the eye is almost gone.
vision is clearing up, as it was rather misty for the first
few days of the accident. however i cant tell if its still
misty from the blood or vision is opaque - which is
not a good sign i understand. this is slight though...

doc says more than likely be ok and to go back in 3 weeks but i'm more inclined to back each week. i'm well aware of the
chances of glaucoma etc.

my concern is that the pupil isn't dialating. its been
about 5 days since coming off the eyedrops that fix the
dialtion. how long does it take for the pupil to start
dialating again?

SYMPHYTUM and ACONITE seem to be the homeopathic remedies here from poking around online.

anyways, any pointers or advice here much appreciated!

thanks muchly, glad to find this forum.
