Cataract Surgery/IOP/Flickering

Two questions.

1. This morning, I had a 2 week post-op checkup for cataract surgery on my right eye. The IOP went up from 16 to 22. My docs didn't think the IOP of 22 was anything to worry about, but after some discussion with me, they wanted me to use only one drop of EconoPred (a steroid drop) and 3 drops of Nevanac a day. The last thing that I want to have is surgery-induced glaucoma. Should I worry about my increased IOP?

2. Since the surgery (Alcon AcrySof), I have had flickering vision in the operated eye. I notice flickering vision when I focus on something (e.g., reading) or when I'm in a bright environment. My docs say (1) everything looks good, (2) I'm seeing edge reflections and (3) flickering should go away as the IOL stablizes in my eye. Flickering is the only thing that bothers me (I don't see other optical phenomena). So, will flickering go away? If flickering prevails, what can be done to improve the situation?

Thanks/

no.  you should not worry.  22 is probably no big deal.  your docs will monitor your IOP over the next few days/weeks anyway.  they will not let your IOP get really high for extended periods.

yes, they are right the flickering will go away.
