Cataract Surgery

Hi - I had cataract surgery on friday April 14...all seemed to go well, except that the local anesthesia didn't work very well. so the for the right eye they will give me general....
When I removed the patch, I could see very well, a little swelling.   I have drops for the eyes Ofloxacin .3% 4 times a day and Prednisolone 1% 6 times a day.  My question is I sometimes see an thin line down my vision at different angles, usually when i look out the left side of my eye and I was wondering if this is where the incision was and will disappear later.   Also, sometimes my eye seems to flutter...like a nervous twitch...If I close my eye it goes away...just wondering if this is normal.  I had monofocal lens with a diopter of 12.5D.Thanks you guys have been a god send....

no, you are not seeing the incision.  you are likely seeing debris or part of the implant.  yes, it will likely go away.

i am not concerned at all about occasional twitch or flutter...you should not be either!  many strange things occur when you have invasive surgical procedures performed on your eye...

also, 1 other question..I seem to sensitive to sunlight for a few minutes when I go from inside the house to outside.  Is this normal?  It not as bad and when I first had surgery, so I assume this will go away???

HI!
I also had catarac surgery ,over a year ago
I found that my vision was great after about three weeks and that it even seemed to keep improving over the next few months.
Also, I could see a line but mine was curved and on the right side of my eye .THe doctor at first thought I was seeing it as a light reflection of some sort but then he also added that it might be the rim of the implant.
However , I rarely notice it and seem to see it much less now. Oddly, I only saw it in the mornings.
