hELLO,
I HAVE A QUESTION. I HAD
LASIKLasik eye surgery - series DONE ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO.
AND SINCE THEN I HAVE VERY DRY EYES AND AT TIMES MY VISION IS BLURRY, I BUT SOME EYE DROPS AND MY EYES GET BETTER.
IS IT
NORMALNormal saline flush, AS FAR AS IT BEING A SIDE EFFECT??? MOST OF THE TIME I SEE GREAT BUT THERE ARE THOSE EXCEPTIONS, SHOULD I BE CONCERNED?
Also, the Thera Tears Liquid Gel is good at night.
Whatever you do keep your eyes moist. I have pterygium growths on both eyes. My doc said; dry eyes contributed to the growths. Now I have to have surgery to remove one.
So don't make my mistake, use the drops!
have you tried "soothe" brand over-the-counter lubricant eyedrops? it has FISH OIL in it, and i have had a lot of success recommending it to patients with chronic dry eye. it comes in an orange & purple box, and may be hard to find. it runs about $10/bottle...MUCH less than restasis (like $90/bottle!) its an emulsion (like oil & water), so you need to shake it up before use.
