Decline in Vision

by sabie, Jul 26, 2006 12:00AM
I just went to my opthmologist yesterday and he said that I had a decline in vision in my left eye from 20/30 to 20/50 since my last appointment in February.  He also said that he noticed some slight swelling and is sending me to see a retinal specialist.  Any ideas on what could be causing the swelling and the decline in my left eye?

many, many possibilities.  really too many to even speculate about.  wet macular degeneration, dry macular degeneration, central serous maculopathy, cystoid macular edema, retinoscheisis, etc etc etc etc

too many possibilities.  sorry.  just have to go see the retinal specialist and see what he/she says when they look.
