my eyes seemed to blink alot back in Oct and my optometrist recommended new contacts with more water content and said i had "dry eye". I am 50 going through menoupause and was put on
hrtHormone replacement therapy as well about the same time. I also was getting
nerveNerve biopsy
Nerve conduction velocity/muscle annoyances that my GP sent me to a rhematolgist to see if i had any autoimmune diseases. i am still undergoing test for those.
In Jan my eyes had started to genty close and stick - almost like a velcro for a sec or 2. this happens with or without my glasses. i started reading on the internet about blehparospams.
In the last 3 weeks- i am having trouble with my eyes especially when driving, and now my eyes seem to start to close more often.
Can this still be dry eye??
My GP is on
vacationVacation health care till may 1 and i just made an appointment.
i need a referal - should i ask to see a neurologist or an opthamologist?? could this be something else??
i am really scared of the thougth of needles near my eyes!!!
After reading signs and symptoms it sounds like that -
i have now spams and trouble keeping my eyes open.
Especially when driving!! And even when walking.
Have you ever seen this condition??
i will definitely start with an opthomologist...
any other thoughts to this??
