EYES NOT DILATING PROPERLY

by pqutie, Sep 20, 2006 12:00AM
my grandsons pediatrician recently told us that his eyes are not dilating properly. he is 9 months old and i want to know what this could mean and what kind of problems he may have. very concerned.

that statement could mean literally anything from afferent pupillary defect to sluggish pupils to miosis, etc etc.  not nearly enough information there to have any idea what he's talking about.

take anything the pediatrician says about your grandson's eyes with a grain of salt.  GO GET AN EYE EXAM FROM AN EYE DOCTOR.
