Enlarged pupils bilaterally

Enlarged pupils bilaterally

I have a student that both eyes are dilated to between 6-7 mm. They are reactive to light, just staying big. She has had "migraines" lately. There is no drug or medication use.

that does not alarm me at all.  as long as both pupils react to light, there is no afferrent pupillary defect, and they are the same size, then all is well.  especially if they have "always" been like that.

some people just have large pupils.  they have extra innervation to the pupil dilator musculature in the iris.  benign.

The student noticed it. They havn't always been that way, just the last three days. Thank you for your quick response.
