Eye Lash Poblem

I seem to have got an eyelash stuck in my eye. I was reading and then felt some pain. I have tried eye wash to try and get rid of it and trying to cry but it is still sore. Is there any way of getting rid of this. I have only had it for a few hours.

it is most likely not in there anymore if you flushed with eyewash.  you now likely just have "foreign body sensation" from mild conjunctival or corneal irritation or abrasion.  try very hard o leave it alone...no more rubbing or "digging" for the lash which is likely long gone.  if its painful & red tomorrow, get an eye exam.

if it was actually PAINFUL, and is still painful the next day, you could have recurrent corneal erosion.  thats not particularly dangerous, but certainly annoying
