Eye Twitch-Myokymia

I have been for a long time experiencing my lower right eye lid twitching every 10 seconds or so. After reading about Myokymia this seems to be the most likely prognosis. I have read through your other readers that "Zadiator" is prescribed, and also a compress. I read one forum that called for a cold compress and then another one that said to use a warm compress. Which is the correct one and also how long before this twitching goes away when you start using this "Zadiator" OTC drug? Should I be concerned enough to make a Dr. appointment or probably just start with the Zadiator? signed tired of twitching!

compresses:  NOT COLD.  if i wrote cold in some other thread, it was a mistake on my part.  WARM for this.

its not guaranteed to work in every patient.  in fact this is an 'off label' usage for this drug...you wont find info about twithcing in the package insert for zaditor or any drug.  so the answer is... it may not work at all for you.  but for the people whom it does work for, the effect is usually pretty much instant.  a few minutes.

this does not sound concerning to me.  try the zaditor 1st before making an appt.
