Eye floaters, crack in retina w/hemorrhaging

In 2004 I had 2 visudyne treatments to stop hemorrhaging that was a result from a blood vessel penetrating through a crack in my retina.  That did stop the hemorrhaging, but because of the location of the hemorrhage, it left me with only peripheral vision.  A week ago, I went to see my doctor because I have now lost most of my lower peripheral vision -- it looks as if I am looking through water droplets.  My doctor examined my eye and found only that a had a significant number of floaters, but would not explain why I had lost so much of my  lower peripheral vision, or explain why I was having so many lightning flashes; and he wasn't interested in any other symptoms I was having.  I know that it is not floaters "blocking" my vision, because the water droplet does not move around in my eye.  I would like a second opinion as to what is causing this sudden loss of my lower peripheral vision.  Are there any specialists you can recommend in the Houston or Dallas area with experience in dealing with cracks in the retina and large number of floaters?

this sounds liek "wet" macular degenration.  you need a retinal specialist.

there are a bunch i houston.  no, i try and stay away from making specific referrals to specific doctors.  although i am more familiar with the houston area than i am say L.A., i still prefer not to specifically mention any one doctor's name.
