Eye pain and pressure

I have been experiencing pain and pressure behind my left eye for about four months. I also have a continuous flicker of my eyelid. I've seen my optometrist about this, but she said it would go away. I'm getting more concerned because the flickering sometimes is a constant motion, it doesn't seem to be going away.
I feel a slight pulling feeling in the skin above my eye. Can you give me some advise with this?

dont know. you need another eye exam, preferably by someone else. this could be anything from needing a glasses/contact lens rx to myokymia to sinus problems to glaucoma. too many variables...

It could also be the beginning of blepharospasms. See and Ophthalmologist for diagnosis.
