Eye's not working together

by Ellis45, Feb 26, 2006 12:00AM
A few week's back I posted about my eye problem, I went to the eye doctor and he checked me over, he came to the conclusion there was no change in my perscription but was accomadative spasm. This spasm has lasted well over 7 week's now and seem's no better.

Yesterday I was looking at something and could see double if I kept looking at it, also this happens if I look at something then turn my head and look at it using the cornors of my eyes and then turn head back, the image is double.

It is comfortable if I cover one eye and read something but when both are used I get eye pain above the eye and headaches, then it becomes a problem.

I have been also been doing pen push ups and eye exercies also. It seem's my brain is using one eye more causeing the problem.

Thanks for any help it's apreciated.

pencil pushups are a form of vision therapy.  VT is probably a great idea for you.  accommodative and convergence problems with complaints of eyestrain and headaches is pretty much exactly what VT was designed for.  you should look into it further...

Hey Ellis,

Read my posting on the board. I think I am having the same, or close to the same issue as you.
