I am a 53 year old male, have been wearing glasses for
nearsightednessCorneal surgery
Nearsightedness since I was 9 years old. For the past year or so I have been having problems reading and my ability to read has been deteriorating.
The eye doctor prescribed bifocals, however, I couldn't tolerate them especially when driving (when shifting focus from near to far constantly, it drove me nuts.) I went back to my original perscription.
Any suggestions as to compensate for

Nearsightedness and inability to focus for reading? Contacts and reading glasses?
LASIKLasik eye surgery - series? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated?
Thanks!
