it is expected to have floaters after retinal tear repair. so in that respect this is totally normal and fine.
can you feel confident? yes. there is not really much on your end that you can or could do to "affect" a laser tear/hole repair. its out of your control. you cant "move your eyes too much" or "jerk your eyes" or lift weights or jog or whatever and have it have any effect (either positive or negative) on your recent repair or really your future risk, either.
you just have to have frequent visits as recommended by your surgeon and trust that he/she is doing a good job. they have to decide for you if you're at risk or not and if you have damage or not. no, you cannot "jerk the repair loose". thats pretty much impossible.
