Is this simple anisocoria?

I have had different sized pupils as far back as I can remember and my mother says I've had them forever.  I decided to check the internet to see what the cause of all this was.  I found many different causes of anisocoria but most of the answer weren't all too clear.

Looks to me about a little under 2mm in difference of my pupils diameter.  My mother has said she knows of no one else on her side of the family with this condition and my father was adopted so I don't know about his side.  It seems to me that it is just simple anisocoria anyways, I thought I should just get some more opinions before I go and get my eyes checked.

probably no big deal, and probably due to old nerve damage.  an old virus or something.  could be horner's syndrome, really unlikely to be anything too serious (aneurysm, etc).

might not know the cause even after an eye exam.

I have been reading for days on this subject, I have a Newborn -who has unequal pupils in Dim light.   I am concerned as his are MORE of a difference than his older brother and Uncle (who had it but you had to really look), I would assume for YOU, since you had it all of your life with no other symptoms, it is the Simple Anosocoria.   Everywhere I read says it is normal up to 1mm differnce, then some places say 2mm difference, I am not sure how to tell what my sons is, but I am worried his might be more than 2mm difference, this one eye does dialate, but only so much, about Half as much as it should.    While the other eye can dialate fully and big.    What I am worried about is something called Horners Syndrome, but it has other symptoms like Droopy eye lid, if born with it, the affected eye would be LIGHTER in color than the normal dialating eye (noticable by age 2) , plus you do not sweat on that side of the face-and it can get Redder than the other side.  Horners can be Benign (usually when born with it) or serious ---meaning could be a tumor growing somewhere along the nerves, down the spine, lungs, back up to the brain, and that is why you hear UNequal pupils should be investigated.  Simple Eye drops --done by the Optamologist can rule out Horners I guess.  I don't think the Optomitrist does this, I could be wrong.    I am making an appointment with a Pediatric Optomologist on Monday for my 2 month old.  I am hoping to rule out the Horners Syndrome, And breathe easy.     Can you describe to me if the affected Pupil only dialates HALF as much as it should, or more than Half, etc.  That would give me a better understanding of the 1mm , 2mm difference.  I find your Post comforting, just hearing others out there have this issue!    Thanks

I am not sure which one of my pupils is the normal one.  My pupils are constantly different size...they both dilate, but the right pupil stays bigger then the other by the same size.

One more thing, when I was younger I had to get tested because I was thought to have some bleeding disorder and I had to see an oncologist because my lymph nodes where large.
