Problems in doing lasik operation

I m wearing contact lenses for last 12 years. I want to remove this lenses permanently. My age is 29years. What are the risk invovle in lasik operation? Is this operation is permanent cure for removing contact lenses. Also can you provide me the address in India where it can be done safely.

dont know any lasik centers in India

yes, the procedure is permanent, but eventually you'll still need reading glasses (around age 45)
