Question on Lasik

by Trudyc, Sep 26, 2006 12:00AM
I have to have prism/s in my prescription.  Can I still have Lasik done?

by Forum-OD-MP, Sep 26, 2006 12:00AM
no...not and have the prismatic effect.  no.  you'd have to do without the prism.

Then I'd see double then...the reason for the prism/s, yes? :((

if you need the prism to keep fro seeing double. then yes you would see double after lasik.

OR

you could have lasik and still wear prism glasses (with only prism in there...no spectacle "power").  thats probably not what you're aiming for, but thats certainly a possibility.  doesnt keep you out of glasses, tho...which is why MOST people get lasik.
