Red eyes (not conjunctivis) and random pressure headaches?

Red eyes (not conjunctivis) and random pressure headaches?

For a month I have been getting constant red eyes.. the eye doctor said that I may have allergetic conjunctivis... I do'nt believe that may be the case tho.

My eyes are mostly pink when I wake up from sleeping.. they kinda clear up through out the day but still stay red and glassy.. I use eye drops that the doctor prescribed but it is not doing much anymore

My other symptoms which I think is the cause of my eye problem are, constant tiny headaches that feel like my head is under pressure... my eyes feel the same way like they are under pressure and hurt as well.. and i'm very exhausted all the time like when i have this head ache i just want to sleep. BUT.. this head ache can clear just out of the blue and i would feel normal again for a short time until it comes back which it does pretty quickly..

If you think I should post under another forum category please let me know. I went to the eye doctor 3 times and i'm about to go see another medical doctor this upcoming week to explain what I just said.

Any input would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for your reply.

First I was perscribed Alcon TobraDex (tombramycin and dexamethasone ophthalmic suspension USP) which had sterile and anti-biotic if i remember what the dr explained correctly. That cleared up my eyes fine it seemed.. only for a short while until it came back..

Then again after it came back he perscribed Bausch & Lomb Gentamicin Sulfate Opthalmic Solution USP. Which doesn't seem to do anything if I use it now or not.. same goes for the other prescription now.

As for contacts Acuvue2 which I have been using for 2 years +. As of now, this problem seems to occur with our without contacts. I don't wear my contacts often or sleep in them and yet I will still wake up with a pink eye.

Please let me know if you need anymore info, I hope that was what you were looking for.

you need a second opinion.  someone else needs to look at your eye.  if you have been on antibiotics (tobramycin & gentamycin) for a MONTH and you are still having problems, then it is unlikely IMO that this is bacterial related.

go get a 2nd opinion.
