Retinal detachment and numbness in fingers/toes?

I had a dark spot in my peripheral vision in my right eye, I went to the retinal specialist who did the surgery with a buckle only.  After surgey I can see a ring in low light situations when I blink.  I am also expierincing some numbness in my fingers and toes on the leftf side of my body.  It comes and goes and is very slight but still noticable. Does anybody have this?

I noticed the tip of the pinky on my right hand is numb after surgery on my left eye. It is only the pinky so I'm used to it at this point.
