computer use after retina operation

computer use after retina operation

My daughter had retina reattachment operation {3 of them} They didn't save the sight in the eye. Her other eye is now -1 with a astqmatism. She uses the computer for hours at a time. Do we need to limit her computer use. They had told us the left eye could do the same thing and we are worried about her eye sight. They alson lazered the retina on her left eye to bond it stronger to the eye.

nope.  she can use the computer all she wants to.  no vision usage could possibly affect whether or not her retina detaches.  she can read all she wants with or without glasses, use the computer all she wants with or without glasses, watch tv all she wants with or without glasses, drive all she wants with or without glasses, etc etc.  there is no visual acttivity she could possibly perform to either cause a retinal detachment or prevent one.

avoid blows to the head (boxing, fights, car accidents, etc) thats it.  but dont avoid allowing her to use her vision.
