continued eye redness

i have a re-occurring problem with broken blood vessels in my eyes.  i have visited an eye doctor who did a $800 dollars worth of tests, i also went to my regular doctor who did blood and other tests.  everything came back ok. a vessel in the left eye broke a week and a half ago and then a vessel in the right eye broke 2 days ago. and it happens every three of four months. i do suffer allergies which cause me to sneeze quite often and i take supplements. but this started happening a few years ago and i have always had allergies.  any suggestions? these are not little breaks. half of my eye is filled with blood.  is there anything i can do to stop this problem? are there any eye drops that might work? Please help. I am a 50 year old healthy male, 5-10" 160 lbs, non smoker seldom drink

conjunctival hemmorrhage.  you're right, something is up if you're really having them that frequently.  

CH is *usually* a sign of undiagnosed systemic problems like high blood pressure, diabetes, lupus, etc etc.  but having had a bunch of blood tests run and coming up fine... thats certainly perplexing.

sneezing fits (or any valsalva manuever that raises the pressure i your head) can certainly cause this.  i mean this sounds obvious but do you "stifle" your sneezes?  if not, i dont know what to tell you.  something is definitely afoot.

You mentioned you were taking supplements. Certain medications and herbal supplements can increase the risk of this type of bleeding. These include:

Blood-thinning medications, such as warfarin and aspirin
Ginseng
Ginkgo
Garlic
Ginger
St. John's wort
Cayenne
