I have had dyplopia for three weeks, and my MRI finding indicates that I may have MS.  However, my opthamologist thinks I am too old to have MS.  I have an appointment with a neurologist on the 28th of this month.  Have you ever known someone of my age of 64 to be diagnosed for the first time with MS?

dont know.  not really enough information here.  how long have you had diplopia?  is your doctor a neurologist?  if not, you need a neurologist, not an optometrist or ophthalmologist.
