fibrous dysplasia above the left orbit

by bbr29, Dec 22, 2005 12:00AM
Hello I have a 3 centimeter osseous "bony" lesion immediately above my left orbit.  No biopsy has been taken but they think it's most likely fibrous dysplasia at this point.   I have had a non-stop 10 month headache that feels like a "pulling downward" through the center of my head and pressure between my eyes.   Most recently I have been having constant eyelid twitches at various random locations around both orbits.    I also have kinking in the right internal carotid artery at the C2 level.

Maybe this isn't an "eye problem" but I was referred to an ophtha-neurologist at a University due to the location of this lesion so close to the eye.   The pain and pressure is localized to the exact area of the lesion when i lay down on my right side (the lesion is on the left).    Please help me explain some of these symptoms. I am desperate.
Doc looked into my pupils and saw no problems.
