film over eye

I  have been having strange problems.  This isn't allways present but alot of time when I blink this "film" covers my vision (not blurry, but like I'm looking through a fogged up window),  it's especially noticable when I look at a light source, it looks like a "halo of fog" is surrounding the light.    Sometimes I can "blink the fog away"  but other times I can't.    I had my eyes dilated by a good eye doctor and he said he didn't see anything wrong based on what he could see.   I do not wear contacts or glasses.   Again this isn't blurry like I need glasses, but it's a FOG.    I am 29 yrs old...if that helps THANKS!

I am 48 years old with lung disease for 4 years now. I am severely nearsighted since childhood. I have been suffering from a fog type vision for the last year. Been seen by a vision and medical doctor. Both doctors didn't see anything wrong. Please give some explanations. This foggy type vision is getting worse.

Thanks

I cant believe someone else has these symptoms, i was thinking i was just imagining things. since january i keep getting a quick fog over my eyes like how your glasses fog when you come in from the cold. it only last for a second at a time and i have no clue what is wrong.i also feel like when i blink my eyes that a film washes over them.

have someone check your tear film.  you could have oily/mucus tear film or DRYNESS or blepharitis/meibomianitis or any number of things.

you could also still need a glasses rx...

once again to clarify,.. this is how it usually happens:

blink 1 - see clearly

blink 2 - fog over eye

blink 3 - see clearly

blink 4 - fog over eye

also i get eyelid twitches from time to time, and this is usually in my left eye
