muscle pain behind eyes

by nappahdog, May 09, 2006 12:00AM
I'm sure this was answered before but..I am 19(male) and I've been having eye movement pain after I wake up until I take an IBProfin 800 I've also noticed an increased sensitivity to light. this has only happened the past three days. these are my thoughts so far, I was in Phoenix this last weekend and I got a green chili pork plate from Filibertos(hole in the wall mexican) I vomited that up in about an hour and started feeling dizzy and went to bed.The next day I still felt sick and the thoght of food made it worse,(this was went the eye pain started)so I did'nt eat all day until I got home @ 5ish and ate some cereal, a couple hours later I felt dizzy and puked that up too, went to bed. the next morning My eye muscles still hurt but only when I tweak them to look around w/my head still. I'm also coughing alot and get hot flashes. I found this article on nematodes
and I think this might be it, but I'm not experiancing any other symptoms exept the eyes
The most frequently affected muscles are the muscles outside the eye (extraocular muscles) that control eye movements; the muscles of the jaw, neck, and upper arm (biceps muscle); the muscles of the lower back (lumbar region); and the diaphragm, which is the muscle that separates the abdominal and chest cavities and aids in breathing.
MY REAL ? IS SOULD I GO TO THE DOCTOR OR WAIT A COUPLE MORE DAYS?

i would not wait.  in this case go to a general physician 1st, as your ocular pain/discomfort is likely the side effect of dehydration and/or vomiting.  tell them all of your symptoms.
