occasional uneven pupil

When I look in the mirror, I can occasionally see that one of my pupils is more dilated than the other.  Sometimes it is the left eye, and sometimes it is the right. When this happens, both pupils are reactive to light. The uneven pupil lasts anywhere from a few minutes to 30 minutes, then goes back to normal. I do suffer from migraines, and have on a few occasions experienced occular migraines. I also suffer from tmj, and the muscles in my left cheek are all messed up. (tight, spasms, ect.) The muscles around my left eye are very tight. I also had an onset of floaters around 8 monthes ago, when my tmj became active. I'm under a huge amount of stress, and don't know if all of  these symptoms are contributed to that. Also, I just started to notice my uneven pupils around 8 monthes ago, when I became more 'conscience' of other sysmptoms. What could be causing the uneven pupil? Thanks for any response.

an occasionally uneven pupil in the absence of an "afferent pupillary defect" in an otherwise healthy young female is not too concerning.  especially since you tell me sometimes its one eye and sometimes its the other...and you are a known migraine sufferer.  as long as:

1) most of the time they are even
2) you do not have an "afferent pupillary defect"
3) it goes back to normal
4) both pupils are reactive
5) vision is normal even during episodes

then i would not be concerned at all.  probably related to migraines or could be "hippus".

dont know about the muscles around your left eye being "tight".  an eye exam would not hurt here.

probably do need an eye exam for the floaters.
