post operative retinal detachment

post operative retinal detachment

last week i had scleral buckle surgery to repair my detached retina.  at the time i was seeing a bubble or fluid in my peripheral vision.  even now after surgery, i still see the same fluid in my eye and it is affecting half of my vision.  it is clear and i can see through it sometimes.  the doctors told me that the fluid in my eye is draining well but i dont see any difference.  will this fluid/bubble ever go away?  by the way, they did not inject a gas bubble into my eye.

yes, it will go away.  it will likely take months.  not anytime soon.
