Hello,
I am a 33 yr. old female. I have had this eye problem for quite some time. I've been to many dermotologists, and no one can figure this one out. Here is my problem: The skin around my eyes is very dry, it sheds, it also itches and burns. You can sometimes see how raw the skin is when it get really bad. I do get dry patches, sometimes on the eyelid, sometimes under the eye, sometimes all over the eye. I don't have this problem anywhere else on my face or my body, JUST MY EYES. The more I rub them till I can't see anymore the darker the circles around my eyes get. I've been given many creams and only 1 has worked but is now not really working. What can I do? AND Do you have any idea as to what this may be? Oh, I also take medicine for allergies and have been tested for allergies as well.

nope. i ahve a few patients like this...with kind of 'dermatitis' only around the eyes. difficult to diagnose/manage. my SON even has this problem. he's currently using elidel with no real relief.
