stargardts treatment

by snava, Mar 06, 2006 12:00AM
I have read where MicroCurrent Stimulation has worked to reduce or stop the effects of stargardts desease and a patients vision. There is also some mention of Glyconutrients, Omega 3 Fish oil or CoQ10 with L-carnitine as supplements that will help slow or stop the visual effects of Stargardts. Do all patients end up at the same level of vision loss ie: 20/200 or can remain only partially affected and be able to continue to read, drive ect.
