Floaters,halos,glares,starbursts

22 yr old med student. 20/20 vision. In July, I saw floaters. Repeated dilated eye exams, mri brain normal. In my right periphery, I see a constant flashing light which goes away at some angle. I also see a white round spot on top of my nose when I move my right side towards the nose. Recently, I see haloes, glares ,starbursts from light sources. Got my eyes checked again today. All was fine. Pls help.

I would suggest you see a neuro-ophthalmologist at your medical school department of ophthalmology. If that exam is also then your symptoms likely have a heavy anxiety driven underpinning.  If all these tests and exams are normal and you are basically healthy you may want to visit with a psychologist or psychiatrist for a mental check up.  Medical students are known to develop anxiety driven hypochondriasis at rates higher than the general population.

Thanks a lot for your input, sir. I posted the question in hope of getting an opinion from you.

I am seeing light extending from tubelights also whenever I blink. Even streetlamps have huge haloes around them. I can see extended rays from light sources, no matter what angle I look at them from.
Could be any other eye problem that is being missed?

I am an anxious person, but it is hard for me to accept that the anxiety is manifesting in such a manner.I have never had issues with my eyes earlier. These eye problems are affecting my academics in med school and my exams are due in a month's time.
We cannot make a diagnosis based on your description of the problem and without examining your eyes.  See a neuroophthalmologist. Their expertise is difficult and obscure Dx.
Okay sir. Will do that. Thanks a lot for the response!
best of luck
