hi, my name is jessica and i want to know if stress causes blindness and can the doctors
detect if you are about to be blind because of stress?
because i am always stressed and worried about everything and sometimes my eyes
gets really uncomfortable and has pain.
i read somewhere that a person's brain will alter the psychological impact into a physical abnormality
such as blindness. please help: i am really concerned.
I don't believe stress can cause blindness exactly. Stress, of course is not good for the body and has many bad effects. I have seen a few people have what you might call hysterical blindness. In other words they got so worked up and freaked out that they couldn't see anything (even thought they could in reality.)
i don't know but , one of my dad's friends said that the doctor told him that one of his
eyes almost went blind because, he was so stressed about every little thing.
so, can the doctor actually examine your eyes and notice that your eyes is close to
being blind because of the pressure and stress?
thank you so mu
