1 Wall orbital decompression healing process

Hi,

I had 3 days agao 1 wall orbital decompression due to a strong (miopie) I had a proptosis on the left eye. I would like to know how many days should I wait before I can start smoking again. I am a smoker and smoke between 5 to 10 cigarettes a day. I stopped because of the surgery. Only smoked 3 to 5 a day for 1 month before the surgery. Been smoking since the age of 13 and now I am 30.
Please doctor answer my question. I know Doctors hate smokers.
I looked through the archives and can't find the answer for my question.

Stop smoking completely. If you have thyroid eye disease smoking is horrific for that disease and will increase the risk of bad vision and blindness.  Don't do that to yourself.

Its not thyroid eye disese (disease) but due to a strong myopie.I was -9 before. My tyroid level was checked and its fine.
But I think I will follow your advice.  Someone told me to wait at least 2 months. I've been thinking I don't really like the smell of cigarettes, I just miss the habite of smoking after I had my lunch or Diner. If I can give up 3days and go up to 2 months I can do it for ever.
