2400 vision??

My friend had an eye exam for his new contacts, and he insist that he has "2400 vision".  I told him he might be wrong, because I personally have never heard of 2400 sight.  Is this true?

Yes BUT

1. his vision is likely not 20/400 with glasses or contacts
2. his near vision without glasses or contacts is likely near 20/20
