7-year-old rolls eyes and shrugs shoulders

My 7-year-old son has been rolling his eyes. I read here on this forum about that, that it may be allergies, and I'm pretty sure he has them and am investigating that. But, lately, for about a week, he's been shrugging his shoulders excessively, like his shirt is uncomfortable or he's got something under his shirt or he's adjusting his shirt and coat the way a person does when putting on a coat. He also tends to adjust and readjust constantly when it's time to sit on the couch to read or see a show or movie. All this is excessive; his shirts are the same type they have always been and this constant adjusting is just too too much. There is no skin condition. Any comments?

Your description sounds a lot like obsessive-compulsive behavior.  I would seek a medical evaluation from a pediatric psychiatrist.  If the onset of his symptoms was seemingly "overnight," PANDAS (google PANDAS and OCD) might be implicated.
