9 year old eye problem

Hi--My 9 year old daughter batts her eyes alot. Started about two weeks ago. She wouldn't tell me why at first. But then she told me they are just really dry. I put eye drops in and she says its better. Then a few days later we were watching movies and it seemed like she was having trouble seeing. I ask her whats the matter she tells me that her eyes are dry, she sees double and sometimes triple and everything shakes a little. My husband goes to store and gets murine tears for dry eyes. I put them in and she says its alot better no dryness or double vision but everything still jumps a tiny bit. Is the eye drops enough, am i just over worrying like i usually do. Or does she need to see the eye doctor? Help!!

Her symptons are a little unusual.  Make sure you use a lubricating drop llike refresh tears, genteal or systane, not a redness reliever or antihistamine.  By the way some oral medications can aggrevated dry eyes as well as  long hours on computer or video games.  Make sure she sees a pediatric ophthalmologist for evaluation.  Doesn't sound like anything terribly bad, just unusual and bothersome.  Good luck.
