A nice eye care activity

Hi,
I just read about a nice eye tip which may be helpful to everybody in general. I must say that I am just expressing my opinion and it is one's personal choice to practice this activity. I do not endorse this in any way.
Now, I read about this is in a book on Ayurveda(Ancient Indian Medicine). It says that that in the morning, after freshening yourself and before eating anything, fill some fresh water in your mouth and then wash your eyes with fresh water about 40-50 times...then, throw the water out of your mouth.
You can also repeat this activity when your eyes feel tired.

I did some research on this and found that some sites mention this activity but recommend splashing water 10-15 times...

It is not exactly washing...I dont know how to put it in words as my English is not very good...its more of splashing water lightly on your eyes 40-50 times..and the book recommends doing it daily in the morning...is it alright or should I discontinue this activity?..and I am sorry for misguiding everyone if it is a bad activity..

Washing your eyes that many times will excessively dry the skin and upset the tear physiology.  Don't do.
