Acuvue Oasys

Acuvue Oasys

I've been wearing contacts since I was 13 until now 16.. And I've recently I've changed my Contacts from BioMedics Toric lenses to Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism. I've been switching with glasses and contacts since the day I'm wearing contacts. And recently, my eye became so red before and after I remove my contacts (Acuvue Oasys).
It's like a bunch of visible veins that is almost like a ball on my right eye and right beside my Iris and quite a few from the bottom also to the Iris with happens for both eyes. I'm wondering what's happening because It happens suddenly and I thought I had not enough sleep so I've been sleeping so much for this few days and It doesn't get any better. I usually wear my contacts for 6-12 hours.

You most likely have irritation or infection.  You should see an ophthalmologist.  Find one on AAO.org.

go back to your old lenses. I'm not a fan of Oasys. Some people get problems from those.

I had the same symptoms as you're reporting when I switched to Oasys.  My optometrist thought it might be due to the fit of the contacts, but now I'm wondering if it wasn't something about the Oasys material.  It seems that many others have had the same problems with this contact. (See thread below.)  I agree with the above posts.  See your eye care provider for treatment of the irritation and stop wearing Oasys contacts.
