Adie's pupil and laser treatment
Hi I am a male, aged 53 afffected with Adie's pupil with myopia (2.5 per eye) and a small form of hypermetropia.
I am considering laser treatment as I am fed up with carrying glasses and using contact lens, are there contraindications ?

You need to research this very carefully. The Adie's pupil is no problem. If you are myopic -2.50 you have excellent near vision. With lasik you will loose that unless you just do one eye and that is called full monovision and is difficult for many people to adjust to. Also you cannot be myopic in both eyes and also hypermetropic (farsighted). Perhaps you mean astigmatism? In any case the chance of doing lasik and making you completely glasses free is extremely small to non existent.
