After PPV questions

I had PPV with gas bubble in my right eye.  It has already been 2 months and over a week since the surgery  I have a few questions:

1) My eye still feels soft and gentle from the surgery.  when would it be more safe to do more regular normal stuff (of course I prob wont be carrying anything over 15 lbs anymore and make any abrupt movements of my eye)?  is is after a min of 3 months?

2) I am seeing a small white light on the upper right hand corner of the operated eye?  it is not light flashes as I say before my PPV.  BUt could this be my veins?  OR coudl this be a start of a tear and I should mention ot to my Surgeon?  Could this be potentially serious.  I see it at night especially...but sometimes also duing the day.

3) Are there any precautions I shld follow from now on to prevent this from recurring?  Some of us on this website would really like to know because most of us will surely follow it, i.e...no lifting anything over 10/15 lbs from now on, no bending over abruptly, etc.  Please list some really substantial ones that could help us.

4) How often should one get examined after PPV.  Right now, the doc sees me after every 2-3 weeks.  But after the process for example....how often...is is every month initially, then every 2 months to 3/4 months?

Thank you so much for your answers.  This has been a scary, frightening and life changing experience for us and everything we can do to help prevention and recurrence will BE VERY MUCH APPRECITED.
