After a surgery on the left eyes (detachment of retina) is possible tu have another detachement?

After a surgery on the left eyes (detachment of retina) is possible tu have another detachment? How big is the risk? The surgery was with the oil of silicon.

Silicon oil is usually done for very severe retinal detachments.  It is possible to redetach after the silicone oil is removed.   Discuss this with your retinal surgeon.

The first detachment surgery  I had was with the oil and 2 monts later it detached again then they did the surgery with the buckle. That has been ok but I have no centeral vision and only a small amount of vision at the bottom.
