After laser hole repair

I have had laser hole repair on both my eyes. I had no symptoms prior to surgery and these holes were discovered on a routine eye exam. I am 48. He examined my eyes and performed the surgery immediately, my right eye felt fine right away and my left felt swollen and for about a month in fact I thought I had an eye infection.
He examined my eye  a month after surgery and said nothing was wrong, my own ophthalmologist did the same and said everything looked fine & even tested my eye pressure...
I wear oasis contact lenses and I still feel discomfort and have been wearing glasses. My left eye above the lid feels sore and my eye is dry especially in the morning. It continues to improve but the surgery was in august and I was wondering if damage could have been done and if so will it heal in time ?
Thanks

Thanks for replying to my message.
I have worn new contact lenses for years and did not have a dry eye prior to the surgery.
I'm rather puzzled but things continue to improve daily and my eye is not red or swollen but I feel something has changed and is not quite right.

No such symptoms are not characteristic of laser damage to the eye, not at all. They are suggestive of dry eyes and contact lens problems.
