"Annoying" Sensation in Eyes?

"Annoying" Sensation in Eyes?

I have been having trouble with my eyes for a couple months now. My eyes feel almost annoyed and are aggravated when I focus on things such as working on my computer or BlackBerry or focusing on specific things (i.e. reading). I have also had trouble recently while sitting in on a presentation and while talking to co-workers in person.

I do not feel pain and my eyes don't feel dry. There aren't any spots or blacking out of my vision or anything, just an "annoying" sensation that I cannot get rid of.

I have visited two Opthomologist and was told I have a little Blepharitis and was instructed to do the warm eye compressions, wash around the eyes with J&J Baby Shampoo, and use over-the-counter eye drops.

Looking at medical resources online, I don't really feel that the symptoms I am having are all that consistent with Blepharitis and wonder if I am not being treated for the correct condition. Regardless, I have been following the Opthomologist's recommendations for the past 6 weeks and nothing is improving.

Does anyone have any insight into what type of problem I might be having or what I might be able to do?

Dear Clok995,

You do not mention your age nor whether you have a refractive error of the eye. I would recommend that you obtain a complete eye examination including but not limited to evaluation of manifest and cycloplegic refraction as well as motility of the eye.
