I posted "New Contacts-Is this Normal" a couple days ago and went
back to eye doctor today.  He said the irritation was caused because the prescription was too low in the right eye.  I don't understand how this could cause an irritation.  Does this sound right to you?  He ordered new lenses which I'll be picking up on Thurs.  The only reason I ask is I'm starting to not trust this guy.

Yes, he means the prescription power is too low.  He said something to the effect that the focus is off balance and is causing an eye dominance problem and eye strain.  Does this sound like it could be the problem?

I am not sure how a prescription problem will cause a contact lens misfit or irritation.  I am not sure if eye dominance can cause these symptoms.  You may want to consider a second opinion.
