Another surgery to remove scar tissue or learn to live with it.?

I have had RD due to an eye infection.  2 surgeries to include the buckle, oil and air.  9 months after 1st surgery and now I have aggressive scar tissue and the center of the retina has detached. 2 opposing opinions from 2 surgeons on whether to have the scar tissue removed at this point due to complications that can arise from another surgery at this point in time.

Well, the aggressive scar tissue was removed during the 2nd surgery...and then grew back with a vengeance.  My surgeon wants me to have another surgery to remove the scar tissue .  My 2nd opinion doc cautioned against it...due to possible detachment again, blood clot, infection.  So I am trying to decide.  Also, my lens was destroyed during the infection.  I am looking at a lens implant or just a regular contact.  I have lost my peripheral vision, possibly due to the buckle.  I am just trying to gather information.
