Hi. On a recent job application form it states that I must have vision of 6/12 or better with either eye and 6/6 with both eyes, with or without spectacles
6/36 without spectacles/ contact lenses.
I wear Spectacles and my prescription = 2.5 and 2.75 ? I am lost, can anybody help ?

It is not the strength of your prescription but how well you can see with it, and without it. You don't say whether your prescription is +2.5 and +2.75 or -2.5 and -2.75, which makes a big difference.
Most people are nearsighted so I am going to assume you are (this would be with the minus signs). I think that you would might just barely pass the requirement for 6/36 without spectacles. Unless there is something else wrong with your eyes, you should pass the tests with spectacles without difficulty.
